Honi-Honi Bar & Uno's Chicago Grill
A Deep Creek Lake Tradition!

When Jim Delligatti purchased the Pizza Pub in 1969, he was truly creating a Deep Creek Lake dynasty. The Pizza Pub was one of the first casual dining restaurants where guests could come by boat and dine lakeside. Soon thereafter, he built The Honi-Honi, the first lakeside bar offering summer entertainment. Today its successor, Uno's Chicago Grill and a renovated and year-round Honi-Honi have become local favorites, courtesy of the man who invented the Big Mac.
The original Honi-Honi Bar was only 12 feet long and had no seating. Basically just a hut on a wide expanse of lakefront lawn, it nonetheless was a popular summer hangout because of its great views and local entertainment. In 1990, when Delligatti tore down the Pizza Pub to replace it with Uno's, the Honi-Honi got a facelift as well.
In the summer, the Honi-Honi offers live entertainment every Monday afternoon and every Friday and Saturday night and Saturday afternoons, with their offering of regional bands and local entertainment, having become legendary.
Thursday night offers Karaoke with DJ Jonny Rock except for the second Thursday of each month, when the Honi House Band performs. Five local musicians—Mike Delligatti, Jimmy Flanigan, Mike Whitehead, Bob Browning and John Macy—all members of other local bands, get together to try new types of music and perform once a month for a lively audience. The Honi House Band is a "jam" band, always trying new genres of music. According to Honi-Honi General Manager Mike "Smitty" Smith, the guys are "always a new band every time you hear them."
Uno's & The Honi-Honi
offer plenty of outside areas for dining and dancing!
