August 2026 Issue
Dear Friends,
Didn’t summer just start?
Somehow, we’ve already turned the page to August, and I’m left wondering where July went.
There is still time for long weekends, boat rides, ice cream stops, and evenings by the campfire, but it’s going quickly!
Last month was one for the history books. Garrett 250 brought our community together in a way I’ll never forget. As chair of the commission, I had the privilege of watching thousands of people celebrate our county’s story, and I couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who volunteered, attended, sponsored, and helped make it happen. We’ve included a special photo gallery on page ___, and I hope you’ll enjoy reliving a few of those memorable moments with us.
As always, one of my favorite parts of this magazine is hearing from our readers. If you stumble upon a hidden gem, have an idea for a future story, or capture a photo that makes you smile, I’d love to see it.
Tag us @lakefrontmagazine or send a note to info@lakefrontmagazine.com.
However you’re spending these last weeks in the heart of summer, I hope they’re filled with good company and good memories.
See ya around the lake!
