Dear Friends,

This issue is a special one for me because you’re holding a freshly redesigned Lakefront cover. I’m honestly so proud of how it’s coming together!

The Lakefront has been “helping visitors feel like locals since 1991” and the time is right to give this monthly publication a little new energy to carry it well into the future.

One of my favorite parts of this magazine has always been how much of it comes from you. Our community, our visitors, our everyday life around the Lake. Those stories are also what inspired our latest venture, The Backbone podcast. This is the audio and video perspective where we get to go a little deeper with the people, places, and ideas that make this area so great. It’s very new but I hope you have a few moments to listen; you can find it on Apple, Spotify and YouTube.

Also, I have a favor: were you in the Lakefront Magazine at any point over the years? Do you have a copy? I’d love to see it and hear from you.
