Bundle up and head to the heart of the Oakland Arts & Entertainment District on Saturday, February 15th, from 11am to 4pm for the much-anticipated 2025 Winter Fest! This annual celebration is an icy extravaganza filled with fun for the whole family, offering a day of frosty excitement and heartwarming memories.
This year’s theme, “Camp Winter Wonderland,” brings a playful, outdoorsy twist to the festival. Layer up for the occasion in your most comfortable boots, waffle knits, and puffer vests. Marvel at dazzling ice sculptures shaped like woodland animals, explore the cozy S’moresLand in Banker’s Alley, and indulge in mouthwatering treats at the Campfire Cravings Bakers’ Market.
Families will find plenty to enjoy, with activities and games scattered throughout the event. Live music and theatrical performances will keep everyone entertained, while local shops offer exclusive Winter Fest specials perfect for a little treasure hunting. Don’t miss the fabulous photo opportunities, including the butterfly wing selfie station in Banker’s Alley, created by artist Jason Liggett and sponsored by the Junior Women’s Civic Club of Garrett County. Enjoy the magical, temporary public art in Banker’s Alley by Olivia O’Brien. Family activities like an ice sculpture ping pong table will add even more fun to the day. With plenty of fresh-baked artisan bread, charcuterie and locally baked treats, your tummy won’t leave disappointed!
Wine Walk: The Toasting Trail!
Calling all adventurers 21 and older—don’t miss the ever-popular Wine Walk! Grab a punch card and sample a curated selection of wines as you stroll through the District. Bring a friend and make a toast at each of the locations through the Oakland A&E.
Early Bird tickets are just $20 if purchased by noon on February 14th. After that, tickets are $30, so don’t wait! A limited number of tickets are available, so snag yours today to avoid missing out.
