Deep Creek Lake Art, Wine & Beer Festival — Garrett County Fairgrounds, Noon – 6 PM (Wine and beer store open until 7 PM).  The 15th annual festival, benefiting HART for Animals and Garrett Lakes Arts Festival (GLAF) features beautifully handcrafted works by local and regional artisans, more than 200 wines to taste from Maryland and national wineries, a beer tent featuring small batch beers, a lounge to watch college football games, live entertainment, food, silent auction, wine store, wine pairing dinners, lodging packages and more, all set in the beautiful mountains of western Maryland.  Tickets are $30 online; $35 at the gate and includes admission, unlimited wine tasting, beer tasting tickets, commemorative wine / beer glass.  For information, visit www.deepcreekwinefest.com.

2019 Annual AYCE Crab and Shrimp Feast — Deep Creek Volunteer Fire Department, McHenry, 3 – 9 PM.   Come join Deep Creek Volunteer Fire Company for our 7th annual Crab and Shrimp Feast. Doors open at 3pm and crabs will be served at 5pm until 8 pm. Doors will remain open until 9 pm. Music entertainment, tips, and corn hole and more that afternoon! All you can eat crabs, shrimp, corn on the cob and variety of other foods including crab soup! All you can drink beer, soda, and water. Only 450 tickets are being sold. Cost per ticket is a donation of $50. (Plus a $3 convenience fee for online purchase).No takeout is available. Crabs and shrimp will not be served past 8:00pm.
