Happy New Year. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and are looking forward to a healthy and prosperous new year. This year, 2025, marks the 100th Anniversary of the forming of Deep Creek Lake! To celebrate, a committee of hardworking volunteers, business leaders, and more have been working hard to offer a slate of activities that will encompass the entire year, also known as DCL100! We, along with committee members, have planned a variety of articles to highlight these various events and to showcase much of the history and unique features that make Deep Creek Lake beloved by so many. Read the first of these, starting on Page 6.

In Our Business Spotlight, Mike Fratz speaks with the owners of The Alley, a multi-faceted business offering a variety of fun activities for recreational and seasonal bowlers year round. It’s a perfect place for the entire family to spend and afternoon or evening. Read more starting on Page 24.
