July 2026 Issue

Dear Friends,

Thank you for picking up The Lakefront Magazine and for supporting the local businesses, attractions, and organizations that make this community such a special place. Whether you’ve been reading us for years or this is your first issue, I’m so glad you’re here.

One of my favorite parts of publishing this magazine is hearing from readers. What do you love about the area? What stories would you like to see featured? What hidden gems have you discovered? I would genuinely love to hear from you! Tag us @lakefrontmagazine or email us at info@lakefrontmagazine.com.

And while you’re making summer memories, don’t forget to share your photos with us. You can find this month’s reader snapshots on page 114.

As chair of the Garrett 250 Commission, I can tell you that the upcoming birthday bash event represents months of planning, collaboration, and dedication from countless volunteers, organizations, businesses, and community leaders. While there is still work to do as I write this, I am incredibly excited to see it all come together on July 18! Please note the facing page for all of the details; please come say “hi”!

One more note: this issue is also personally meaningful because I can hardly believe it marks the beginning of my second year as publisher of The Lakefront Magazine. The past year has gone by faster than I could have ever imagined. It has been a privilege to continue a publication that holds such a meaningful place for many, and I am grateful for the support, encouragement, and feedback so many of you have shared along the way.

See ya around the lake!
