September 2025 Issue
Dear Friends,
I think September at the lake is the best time there is! Mornings start with a little mist on the water, evenings ask for a light jacket, and there’s still plenty of daylight for one more paddle, hike, or porch sit.
After a full summer (and a centennial year to remember!), this issue leans into that shoulder-season magic. You’ll find ideas for close-to-home adventures, notes on what’s new around town, and ways to support the local businesses that make Deep Creek, Deep Creek. If you’re visiting, welcome! Please say hello when you’re out and about. If you’re a year- round neighbor, thanks for showing up for each other, for our parks and trails, and for the small shops that keep our community humming.
I’m sending a hearty congratulations to Daniel and Molly! Cheers to your next chapter! If you see them around on their special wedding weekend, give them a high-five from us.
A quick ask: when you enjoy a meal, book a guide, or discover a favorite maker, tell them you saw them in The Lake-Front. Sharing feedback helps tremendously! And to our advertisers—thank you. You make this magazine possible.
As always, we love seeing your adventures and photos. Share with us @lakefrontmagazine.
See you around the lake,
Sarah Myers
