Town of Accident Homecoming — Accident’s annual July 4th homecoming will be held on Saturday, July 3 due to the 4th falling on a Sunday this year. Parade starts at 11 AM with food, crafts, activities at the Fire Hall after the parade. Wear your best patriotic attire and come celebrate with us.

Fire on the Mountain Fireworks Display — McHenry Cove, dusk. Fireworks launched from the top of the tubing hill at the Mountain Park at Wisp Resort out toward the waters of Deep Creek Lake. Viewing spots include the scenic overlook on Rt. 219, McHenry Cove on Deep Creek Lake and businesses in McHenry. Rain date is July 5th.
