Yoga in the Lavender Fields — Deep Creek Lavender Farm, 9 – 10 AM. Come enjoy a 60 minute Gentle Stretch Yoga Session with Sheri Kosh of Beach to Peak Yoga. Bring your own mat and straps or we have some extras. Class starts right at 9 am, rain or shine! Enjoy some lavender tea after and the store is open for shopping. Bring a brunch to enjoy at one of the picnic tables after the yoga session. $15 if paid ahead (RSVP the night before) or $20 to walk in. 95th Anniversary Book Signing — Garrett County Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center, beginning at 12:30 PM.  Local author Ed King will be signing copies of his three books:  “Famous Boats of Deep Creek Lake”; “Deep Creek Lake: The Founders” (Book 1) and “I love Deep Creek Lake: Another in a Series of Vignettes”.  Face masks required capacity limitations will be in effect.  Books will be available for purchase to then be signed.

Spring Farmer’s Market – Springs Road, Springs, PA, 8 AM to 1 PM.  Held every Saturday from May 25 through September 23, 2020, 8 AM to 1 PM.  Featuring fresh produce, antiques and crafts as well as flea market items.  Free admission and parking.  Visit www.springspa.org for info.

Birds of Prey Wildlife Program – Every Monday in July and August starting July 6th, 10 AM until Noon.  Friendsville Town Park – near Stage Area.  All Earth Eco Tours is partnering with Adventures with Raptors to offer a Birds of Prey Wildlife program featuring birds of prey. Chief All Earth Eco Tour Guide, Crede Calhoun is studying as an apprentice falconer and will be assisting Master Falconer and Wildlife Educator Deron Meador in presenting a fun learning program about hawks, falcons and owls.  You will see the 6-10 live birds and be able to take pictures and approach the birds within 6 feet. Depending on current birds in training some birds may do a flying demo.
