The Garrett Regional Medical Center Foundation is excited to announce the return of the hospital’s bi-annual Summer Soiree. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, August 15th at the Red Barn. The Summer Soiree was created in 2022
to be held on the off years of the hospital’s Gala. The elegant summer evening will include a cocktail hour with live music, upscale dinner by renowned Pittsburgh caterer Kimberley Ashlee & Co, and a silent auction.

Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Garrett Regional Medical Center Foundation’s Radiation Oncology Campaign, which supports the expansion of Garrett Regional Medical Center’s Cancer Center to include radiation therapy services. This important initiative will help reduce the physical, emotional, and financial burden many patients in our region face when having to traveling for treatment. Today, many local cancer patients travel hours each week for treatment while facing one of the most difficult challenges of their lives.

“We are excited to welcome our community back for another Summer Soiree, this year in support of radiation oncology,” said Mark Boucot, Garrett Regional Medical Center president and CEO. “This project represents a significant investment in the health of our region, and community support is essential to making it a reality. Every ticket purchased, table reserved, sponsorship secured, and donation helps ensure our community will have access to life-saving treatment without the added burden of long-distance travel.”

GRMC and the Foundation extend their sincere gratitude to Title Sponsor Don and Elizabeth Morin, whose generosity has helped make this event possible. Special thanks are also extended to the event’s other generous sponsors, including Dr. Willis and Robin McGill (Dinner Sponsor), First United Bank & Trust (Entertainment Sponsor), Skidmore Digital (Bar Sponsor), Gold Sponsors Thousand Acres Golf Club, Taylor-Made Deep Creek Sales, and Bob and Mary Alice Simpson; Silver Sponsor BJ and Krista Davisson; and Bronze Sponsors Kim Clarke, Dr. Stanley Lambert and Railey Realty.

Tickets for the event are now available at $150 each, with tables of 8 available for $1,200, and can be purchased online at WVUMedicine.org/grmcdonate. Limited sponsorships are still available; please contact Emily Tusing, emily.tobin@wvumedicine.org, or call 301-533-4178 for more information on how to support the Radiation Oncology Campaign.
